EOTC and Effective Safety Management Systems
Implement the Ministry of Education guidelines, and good practices for safety and learning. This professional learning workshop supports schools in embedding good practices for EOTC activities, ensuring safe, engaging, and effective outdoor learning for all students. The free two-day workshop, supported by the Ministry of Education, is designed for schools at various stages of implementing EOTC safety systems.
The workshop is most beneficial when attended by at least two representatives from a school, including a senior leader, EOTC coordinator, or lead teacher. Participation from a school board member is also encouraged.
Whether you're refining existing processes or establishing new systems, this workshop equips educators with the tools and knowledge to integrate EOTC into school-wide safety and teaching strategies effectively.
Attendance at both days is required.
This is funded by the MOE and is free to all schools.
If the event says 'Closed' it means it is full but we often have spaces become available. Please complete this form to join the waitlist and we will let you know if there is a space or we add a new workshop.
We can also run workshops for Kahui Ako or other groups of schools at a very cost effective rate. Email us at Admin@eonz.org.nz.
