Event Terms and Conditions

Registration terms, FREE workshops

  • The close-off date for ALL registrations is 1 week (7 days) prior to the event.
  • If an event becomes full, we may close registrations and run a waiting list or schedule an additional session. (The maximum number of registrations will depend on course location and format.)
  • Enrolment in a course constitutes acceptance of this policy.
  • EONZ reserves the right to add, withdraw, reschedule or substitute speakers and/or vary advertised programmes and venues.

Cancellation Policy

  • We reserve the right to cancel any event because of insufficient registration numbers or events outside our control. (The minimum number of registrations required will depend on course location and format). All registrants will be informed. EONZ will not accept responsibility for travel and accommodation costs incurred by participants.
  • Please notify us office by email - admin@eonz.org.nz  or phone 021 2299663 as soon as possible if you are not able to attend any of our workshops or events that you are booked into. 
  • If you are unable to attend and cannot give the required seven days notice, you may send a substitute staff member in your place. Please let us know who will be attending in your place.
  • Cancellations for free events received over seven (7) days prior to the event will not incur any fee. Cancellations received less than seven (7) days before the event or no shows on the day will incur a fee to cover catering and venue costs circa $50.00 per person per workshop (costs will vary from venue to venue)
  • Group cancellations (for group bookings of 4+) for free events received over 7 days prior to the event will not incur any fee. Cancellations received less than 7 days before the event or no shows on the day will incur a fee to cover catering and venue costs circa $50.00 per person (costs will vary from venue to venue). As a group booking cancellation may result in the event being cancelled, further cancellation costs may be incurred.
  • Invoices will be sent out as soon as possible following your notification of cancellation and will be expected to be paid as per our standard invoice terms.

Registration terms, PAID workshops

  • Payments must be received at least 10 days prior to the event so we are able to confirm numbers with our venues.
  • If an event becomes full, we may close registrations and run a waiting list or schedule an additional session. (The maximum number of registrations will depend on course location and format.)
  • EONZ reserves the right to add, withdraw, reschedule or substitute speakers and/or vary advertised programmes and venues.
  • Invoices will be sent out as soon as possible following registration. If your school hasn't received the invoice before the course start date, you can attend if your registration has been confirmed. Note that our event fees include GST.
  • Enrolment in a course constitutes acceptance of this policy.

Cancellation Policy

  • Education Outdoors New Zealand Inc reserves the right to cancel /postpone a workshop. A refund of the registration fee or transfer of registration to a future workshop will be offered. EONZ will not accept responsibility for travel and accommodation costs incurred by participants.
  • Please notify us office by email - admin@eonz.org.nz  or phone 021 2299663 as soon as possible if you will be unable to attend any of our workshops or events. Office hours are 9am-3pm.
  • If you are unable to attend and cannot give the required seven (7) days notice, you may send a substitute staff member in your place.
  • Individual cancellations received 30-15 days prior to the event will receive a full refund. 
    Cancellations received 14-7 days before the event will receive a refund of 50% of paid registration fee. Cancellations less than seven (7) days prior to the event or no show on the day do not receive a refund.
  • Group cancellations (for group bookings of 4+) received 30-15 days prior to the event will receive a full refund. Cancellations received 14-7 days before the event will receive a refund of 50% of paid registration fee. Cancellations less than seven (7) days prior to the event or no show on the day do not receive a refund. *As a group booking cancellation may result in the whole event being cancelled, further cancellation costs may be incurred.
