Embracing Uncertainty

This conference was a celebration of the Health and Physical Education and Outdoor Education sectors, and the organisations that support what we do, coming together to share new findings, innovative and effective teaching and learning approaches, and new resources.

With the 2020 conference cancelled due to Covid-19, we (Physical Education New Zealand, New Zealand Health Association, and Education Outdoors New Zealand) knew we had to make the most of this face-to-face conference. Therefore, as subject associations, our aim for this conference was to provide quality physical education, health education, and outdoor education professional learning and networking opportunities. And we achieved that – 58 workshops across 6 streams, 1 keynote, 7 pechakucha talks, a facilitated panel discussion with three educators over intensive two days.
